We have gifts?!

VERSE:

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. THOUGHT:

Solomon had a dream, and in that dream, God asked what Solomon wanted during his reign as king. Solomon's response was for discernment and understanding. Our greatest hope in life should not only be that wisdom, but the ability to act upon it, and giving the proper thanks to God for that gift, that ability. Hear the Good News, God gives each one of us, you and me, the ability to serve God with all our might, our soul, and our strength. Listen and recognize what your gifts are. Use those gifts God has given you faithfully. And as we use our gifts, together we will bring about a wonderful world.

PRAYER:

Holy Father, thank you for giving me the ability to serve You, allow me to use my gifts to bless others and honor you. Give me the vision to see that which You would have me do and the strength to do just that! In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
