Take The Gift

THOUGHT:
   What an encouraging word! "You see this that I have given to you, go and take it/accept it, don't be afraid or discouraged." When God gives us something, that "thing" is meant for us. This is good, but it gets even better. The Good News is that the most important thing that God has given to us is New Life, New Salvation. As Christ came into the world, for You and for Me, He showed a new way to live.   His time on earth was a bit of heaven, a bit of the Kingdom of God. And the result was that we all have salvation offered to us. Therefore, do not be afraid and do not be discouraged, take and share in the Salvation of Christ. Experience the new life that awaits for you!

PRAYER:
O God, as I face increasing responsibilities and greater challenges, remind me of your promises, allay my fears, strengthen my resolve, and lead me by your will. May the victories in which I participate always bring glory and honor to you. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
