VERSE:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he
created him; male and female he created them.

THOUGHT:
Yesterday's scripture was about the grace imparted to us through
the gift of creation, today it seems the passage directs us, me, to the nature
of how much we mean to God. I matter, you matter, the fella on the side
of the rode with the "will work for food" matters. While some
days we may not feel like we have much of a significance in life or that our
existence seems futile due to the pain in our life, remember the Good News.
Not only were we created in God's own image, we were given a
"pick-me-up" in Jesus Christ. It is easy to sacrifice your
needs or even life for a person without faults, but Christ Gave up His
life for us even though we definitely have our own fair share of faults!
PRAYER:
Almighty Creator, please help me value each person I meet and
each day I encounter. Strengthen me in the times that are painful
and full of questions. Help me to reach out to others and make a
difference in their life, just as Christ has done for me. In Jesus' name
I pray. Amen.
