THOUGHT:

A very interesting point for us today even, the dead hearing and message bringing them to life. Hailey, our Golden Retriever, comes to mind. As she sits and looks out the front window, or wanders around the yard, oblivious to most of her surroundings, other than that which she is sniffing or looking for, I can say one of two words and she "raises" from the dead and is ready to go where the words are leading.

Hear the Good News, Jesus brings a sweet sound that enters into our ears, our hearts, and our soul. The message or words are simple. Love God and love one another. These words release us from the tendency to let anger, hate, pain, stress and selfishness lead us into despair. The message from Jesus and the relationship that is established cause our hearts to salivate. We want to serve, to love, and to grow. The end result is a peace a that surpasses all understanding. We come to understand the blessings in our life for what they are, blessings from God.

When you hear the voice, respond.

PRAYER:

Thank you, God, sharing Your good Word with me. For sharing Your Love and opening my ears and heart to be changed for your ministry. Please, help me to share what You have done in my life with others. And finally, surround me with Your peace and presence all of my days. In the Savior's name. Amen.
