VERSE:
But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

THOUGHT:
Living in the box and venturing outside of the box. Two terms that have become a part of our speech in the last 5 years. Funny though, it is a term that is sooo old.
Hear the Good News, while we were once bound by the letter of the Law, through Christ we are free to live by the Spirit of the law. What was once a matter of outward and mechanical living, is now transformed into a life of being led by the Holy Spirit. As we accept God's presence in our life, we are changed, and while it is not always an all at once or easy transition, God's presence within us can lead our life outside of the box. This presence does not infer a life of lawlessness, rather a matter of the law coming to life. In addition, the presence of the Spirit becomes a relational interaction with God. One on one. You and God. This is where the relation you have with God is transmitted to all of God's creation. For those that are visual, the vertical relationship and the horizontal relationship combine to create a holistic you/God relationship. Moreover, it is at your finger tips right now.
PRAYER:
Father, thank You for this relationship I have with You. And thank You for Your presence within my heart. Help me to live that relationship to the fullest possible. In Jesus' name I praise you. Amen.
