– Say
& Do = Love
April 26,

Verse:
"If
you, though a
Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the
Gentiles to live like Jews?"
-Galatians 2:14b

Thought:
Saying
and doing, different, but closely related. We can say one thing and do
another and if they are in conflict, they weaken the both.
Recently, I was asked about one of the best ways to love your children and
to teach your children. Husbands, love your wife, and wives love your
husband, because by doing this your children will know that it you, the
parents love one another and at the same time, set a positive example of
what healthy love is. Children are constantly learning.
Hear the Good News, Christ
compels us to to love one another and reach out to one another regardless of
socio-economic status. Christ compels us to love one another, because
we are all human beings first. Do as I say, which Jesus says love one
another; do as I do, which Jesus loves us all.Say
and do = love.
Prayer:
Oh Father, you
love me. You have loved me and continue to love me. I
am reminded to love you with all of my heart, all of my mind, my soul
my all. I am also to love my brothers and sisters, my neighbors too.
Let me do that, let me make a difference in someone's life today.
Thank You Father, for all You
have done in my life and all You will continue to do.
Amen.
