Verse:
"For by grace given to me I
say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than
you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according
to the measure of faith that God has given."
-Romans 12:3

Thought:
Pictures
are funny things, they are how we are seen, not always how we see
ourselves. The button is pushed, the flash goes off and an image is
burned into the film and the computer program, revealing who we really
are. Yet no one knows you like you know yourself. and what if the
picture taken is not a picture of the you you see? More
pictures are thrown away because they did not like the image than any
other reason, yet is it not true?
Hear the Good News, when
we dream and hope for a life that is fulfilling and one that is with
peace, know that God is working a our life in such a way that all we might
ever need will be provided for. When we dream and hope for our
future, it is often for glory, for prestige and or fame and and yet
our character is shaped by the daily, the mundane, the normal, life.
In life, there are no daily dragons to slay, not castles to overrun, but
there is the garbage to take out, diapers to be changed and meals to
prepare. A funny thing can happen when we open our eyes to the
daily, we see life and we see ourselves.
Prayer:
Gracious
Father, I dream, I dream I am in the clouds, I am a king,
a hero. Then when I wake up,
I understand I have life around me and
I need to spend the time in reality instead of fantasy. Please, I
pray, open my eyes that I may see the real, the true. Allow me to
see who I really am and what I am to really do. Thank
You Father, for all You have done in my life and all You will continue to
do. Amen.
