Verse:
"She made this vow: 'O Lord of
Hosts, if only you will look on the misery of Your servant, and remember
me, and not forget your servant, but will give to Your servant a male
child, then I set him before you as a nazarite as long as he lives.' "
-1 Samuel 1:11a

Thought:
Providence
and Grace, they are both so closely related, yet quite different.
Grace is about being in a right relationship, while Providence is best
described as what happens in that relationship.
Hear the Good News, God provides
for us and meets us always.
Just as God was there with Hannah, as God was there with Moses and the
Hebrews and with
Rach, Shach, and Benny, God is with us. Hannah received her son, Moses
and the Hebrews were delivered and the fateful trio who chose the furnace
over the idol were not even singed.
Each taken care of, just as each of us are taken care of day by day.
Prayer:
Thank
You, for
taking care of me, for your graceful presence. You provide
for me daily, and for that I say thank You.
It is hard to imagine You feeling fulfilled by my being provided for, yet
You do. Thank
You Father, for all You have done in my life and all You will continue to do.
Amen.
